Hello dear friends! As you ready to have an awesome weekend? (I suppose I'm talking to the majority who just got up; my weekend is half-way through!) And yes, of course that an awesome weekend can consist of #netflixandchill, what else? :) Though I must admit I still have not fully jumped on the Netflix bandwagon. I was recently talking to a dear friend and then spontaneously used the words "streaming service", which left her in shock because, as she put it, it's Netflix, it is something that hugs you at night and stays by your side when the world shatters, how can you say it's just a streaming service? :) Anyway, I'm watching Better Call Saul (after having devoured Breaking Bad) and I seriously want to go to New Mexico. But if you've been here a while, you know it's nothing new. I want to go everywhere. :) However, since you're not here today to read about my travel wish list, here are some weekend links for you to enjoy.
Haha, this is fun.
How Pez candies are made. (Trivia: I totally thought these were originally from my country! Maybe because I strongly associate them with childhood... if that even makes any sense.)
Wow. It appears that it’s so dangerous being a bridesmaid in China that some brides are hiring professionals instead.
The joy of not wearing bra. (😊)
Can you recognize every country in this quiz?
Photos from Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea.
How to be charming when talking about yourself. I'd never thought about this before. I think in reality we always try to present the best side of ourselves, at least with new people. But I guess it makes sense.
Diana Nyad's story on the sexual assault committed by her swimming coach when she was 14 made me cry.
And again an article from a fellow blogger I contributed to: this time it was about lessons learnt while traveling for Sam from the blog Adventures Abroad.
Also, if you haven't read my yesterday's post and wonder what it feels like to be in New Zealand, check it out.
Have a great weekend!
