Hello there! How is everyone? Have you taken advantage yet of the Black Friday? I might start a new job on Tuesday; if so, I will definitely visit Asos and shop my heart out! So keep your fingers crossed for me. Not just for the shopping, but this job in general :) I hope you have a great weekend! And here are some links you might enjoy...

Weekend Reads #92

Saturday, November 18, 2017

Hello dear friends! As you ready to have an awesome weekend? (I suppose I'm talking to the majority who just got up; my weekend is half-way through!) And yes, of course that an awesome weekend can consist of #netflixandchill, what else? :) Though I must admit I still have not fully jumped on the Netflix bandwagon. I was recently talking to a dear friend and then spontaneously used the words "streaming service", which left her in shock because, as she put it, it's Netflix, it is something that hugs you at night and stays by your side when the world shatters, how can you say it's just a streaming service? :) Anyway, I'm watching Better Call Saul (after having devoured Breaking Bad) and I seriously want to go to New Mexico. But if you've been here a while, you know it's nothing new. I want to go everywhere. :) However, since you're not here today to read about my travel wish list, here are some weekend links for you to enjoy.

Three Months in New Zealand

Friday, November 17, 2017

I am sitting on a terrace, looking at a palm tree in the backyard. The sun is stroking my face. Actually, no, this is an understatement: the sun is aggressively burning my skin, at least that’s what I feel, even though I just applied sunscreen. My laptop keyboard has become hot in mere minutes, so each stroke feels like a little burn on the top of my fingers. And my typing is pretty fast. I even have that in writing. So, that's a lot of burning.

Today marks three months since I landed in Aotearoa, or New Zealand if you please.

Weekend Reads #91

Saturday, November 4, 2017

Hi everyone! The leaf is for my readers from the Northern Hemisphere, who make the most of my readership anyway. No falling leaves here, though! But at least I got my hands at a book. I finally borrowed a Kindle, since I've been having issues with ordering a battery online throughout this whole year, basically. I'm currently reading The Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk. I saw the movie three years ago, so I'm missing out on the great plot twist. Hah, I wish I could see my own face back then! Did you watch it? (Hope you did so you understand what I'm talking about. If not, do so!) Anyway, here's my choice of this week's links, and I hope you'll like some of them. Have a great weekend!
