Weekend Reads #91

Saturday, November 4, 2017

Hi everyone! The leaf is for my readers from the Northern Hemisphere, who make the most of my readership anyway. No falling leaves here, though! But at least I got my hands at a book. I finally borrowed a Kindle, since I've been having issues with ordering a battery online throughout this whole year, basically. I'm currently reading The Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk. I saw the movie three years ago, so I'm missing out on the great plot twist. Hah, I wish I could see my own face back then! Did you watch it? (Hope you did so you understand what I'm talking about. If not, do so!) Anyway, here's my choice of this week's links, and I hope you'll like some of them. Have a great weekend!

This is great: 10 things you can immediately stop doing, guilt-free. I know I needed it!

A super interested read: twenty-first century Victorians.

Three little birds. What he says!

Oh, how I love this! I love Mari Andrew's illustrations, period.

One of the most amazing things I have recently seen: a photographer spends countless hours waiting to capture museum visitors who match the artworks. I have so many questions!! Like, how did he actually spend his time in a museum? Would he walk around and did he know all the paintings by heart so when somebody who resembles a painting comes in, does he wait, does he follow them around, and what about when someone else enters, aaaah! I really need to talk with him haha.

If you love a) people, b) old photos, c) NYC, d) any combination of the above, you'll love this.

And last, but not least, if you'd like to see: two fellow travel bloggers' posts I contributed to—one on beautiful places you should see on the North Island, New Zealand, and the other on the most memorable travel experiences in Europe

Love,

Tihana
