Hey there! I am finishing up this post on a train, traveling to a city an hour away to have my regular orthodontist check-up. These braces are hopefully coming off soon! It's a beautiful bright November day and the forecast says the weekend is going to be the same (warm, even!) so I hope to squeeze in some outdoor activities. Though this person's idea of 'activities' is a walk. ;) What are your plans for the weekend? I hope you enjoy! And here are some links to make it more enjoyable, if possible.
Love love love this article! I think people in Europe were aware of the writer's point long ago, but now they're succumbing to this crazy idea that you must be equal to your job, and vice versa. Americans, on the other hand (at least, in my opinion and experience, the majority of them), are the ones who are having a hard time grasping the concept "it's just a job". Give it a read. I'd love to hear your opinion!
I found this yesterday and apparently, it's a huge hit on the internet. This is everyday life—and it's going to make you cringe.

Want some better social skills? Maybe reading classics can help.
I was quite sure I had published this before, but I apparently haven't. Everything we think we know about addiction is wrong. Such a great video!!!
On a similar note: how a white mother feels about raising her curly blonde black daughter.
Did you know there is a century-old secret jargon still spoken in Northern California? I had no idea, it's so interesting. Try and decipher a nursery rhyme!
How strong is your passport? This is what it feels like to travel when you're African.
Still in Africa: thoughts of a journalist reporting on South Sudan.
And now back home: this is how a couple from Poland sees Serbia. Love their video!
Things to stop freaking about right now. I needed this read, hopefully I'll remember it as well!
Have a great weekend, friends!
