Weekend Reads #61

Saturday, October 15, 2016

Hello there! I know I've been silent over here and, well, you know my usual response for that: life was happening. It really was, and I hope to gather some strength and time (time, time, time!!!) to finally be a devoted blogger. Or at least pretend to be one. I hope you can accept my apology that would be more weekend reads than what I usually offer. But hey, don't blame me if you end up glued to your screen for the weekend! Yes, they're that good. ;) What are your plans for the weekend? I hope you have a good one!

Let's be kind: let's stop judging.

I first thought that bringing along your family on a honeymoon is crazy. But it worked like a charm for this couple.

Visiting New York showed me why I left. A very interesting read for all of you (us ;)) in love with the idea of NYC.

And another one with a funny touch: No, I'm from New York.

You shouldn't have to earn love the hard way: on a toxic relationship with a friend.

Non-financial habits that seriously impact my banking account. I discovered The Financial Diet only recently and I'm trying to not be overwhelmed with their content! Excellent for anyone looking for a way to save some $$.

5 rules for hosting a crappy dinner party. Would you ever?! I only invite people when I know I can take some time and make my home (seem) flawless. But it's a lovely concept!

How to be insufferable on Facebook. We've all been guilty of this! I know I have. A really good read that puts into perspective everything you and those around you do on Facebook.

NYFW ended what seems to be ages ago, but this is still interesting: the first designer who ever presented a collection with hijabs there.

And finally: you will never be this happy. Ok, maybe you will (I root for ya!), but it's still supercute.

Enjoy the weekend, friends!
