Weekend Reads #20

Friday, April 24, 2015

You might have noticed that I skipped last week's Weekend Reads. I was in Novi Sad, a town in Serbia, at my sister's, also meeting a bunch of friends and attending a course at the University followed by a conference, followed by my computer simply refusing to do anything. As if I didn't have enough trouble just not having a regular internet connection! (My sister doesn't have wifi in her flat but cable, cable that for, reasons unknown to most humans, does nothing when attached to my laptop. I don't think people at a certain pub in Novi Sad think I'm particularly cool, going there almost every day alone to work. I haven't really noticed anyone doing that in Serbia, apart from its capital.)

But enough of the chitchat, your weekly supply of links from all around the Web are here! (A special thank you goes to Alyssa, my editor at Feather Mag, from whom I just learned that Web should be capitalized.)

A trailer for the upcoming documentary Made You Look on creating things in a digital era.

17 things you should know before you go to Belgrade. Written by a foreigner and one of the best pieces on this topic!

Rainy cafe - if you need a background noise while working.

How strong is your passport? (Or, alternative reading: who should you marry to get a stronger one?)

What are your plans for the weekend guys? Have a great one!
