Weekend Reads #121

Saturday, July 25, 2020

Not feeling particularly creative for an even remotely interesting introduction; working at home has taken its toll on me and I might be losing it. No one even talks about "when this is over" anymore. I wish I could be reading more books while days last forever, but I don't feel very capable. Any advice?

In the meantime, here's what you came here for... hope you like this week's links! Do share within your circles if you do!

You might remember the comic on the emotional load and imbalance in heterosexual couples’ dealing with chores at home. The author also made this wonderful comic as well as this one. Please read them, and share them if you think they are important.

Padma Lakshmi, an A.C.L.U. ambassador for immigration and women’s rights: "I was raped at 16 and kept silent."

Dad’s note to his gay son who hasn’t come out yet. Be still, my heart!

Haha, this is fun: face masks and pasta. This is the old meaning of face masks, though...

Wow, these aerial photographs are pretty cool!

Post-mastectomy tattoos. This is so raw and beautiful.

Have a lovely rest of the weekend.

Love, Tihana
