Berlin: Karneval der Kulturen

Monday, June 30, 2014

When I first wrote this post, I thought it would be published before the Warsaw trip posts, so my intro was all about how little time I have (that is true anyhow) and how a solution would be to cut my hours of sleep, but if that's a key to becoming a happy blogging ray of sunshine, I'll delete my blog instantly. Haha! I'm a big sleeping fan and counting the days when sleeping will be recognized as a hobby. Anyway, I at least managed to publish one Warsaw post, the other one coming in two days, and today I'm sharing some photos from Berlin Karneval der Kulturen (Carnival of Cultures) that happened some weeks ago. One of my friends really wanted to go, and I didn't mind, so the two of us and another friend ended up in Berlin. I was so glad that we did! Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me, but I took some photos with my phone because I really wanted to share the atmosphere - I mean, as much as it's possible via photos! And it was really amazing, lively, cool, awesome! It was too hot though, so we didn't stay until the end (it lasted for about 8 hours) - we all got sunburnt, and we wondered how it was possible for performers to move and dance for hours in their costumes. It was around 30 degrees!

My smile could've been wider, and where's my body?! But hey :) The beauties in the photo are Birgit the Dutchie, and Chaya the Srilankan.

P.S. I just claimed my blog on Bloglovin so you can also follow me there! I love this platform because it introduced me to so many great blogs, and oh my gosh it's so addictive!

  1. I definitely agree that sleeping should be a hobby, I'm so with you on that. I'm glad you went to the carnival though, it looks fun and your photos turned out well - especially for being phone shots!

    1. Haha I'm glad I'm not the only one! And the carnival was indeed so much fun! :) Thank you for stopping by and commenting :)
